I mean obviously...

My question is

A. Where to get this tool?

B. is it doable without the tool?

C. How come the instructions didnt say: hey, you need a tool

The tool comes pre-packaged in the box. It is a little gray piece, easy to miss. If it isn't there, you can use any $2.99 5/16 quick disconnect tool.

See here:
Also, this isn't the same kind of tool required.

Our lines have a little flange right before the plug.

Yes I know how that works. There is no flange on the line that you have it on - in the pic.

Our fuel line has a flange.

It works, but you have to bend it and shove it in there.

If you have the tool, just push in in man and it's gonna work.

Installed mine yesterday and could not be happier with the kit and even more so with Mike@Moto-East. The kit was as easy to install as everyone has attested and it took me about 3 hours only because I was pondering alternative display mounting locations.

Ran it for about an hour to deplete my 93 as much as possible and while on the 93, the tune accounted for a solid 2-3 mpg better gas mileage. Filled up with e85 just after the gas light came on and registered e70. The car pulls quite a bit more in 1st and 2nd and pulls very well overall.

Now for the main reason I wanted to comment here...For me, the most impressive part of the entire experience has been Mike and his support. The reason I chose this kit was due to the positive reviews here and I have experience the same level of superior service from Mike. If I was selfish, I wouldn't post anything at all so he doesn't become too overloaded. Top class.

@zoth thanks for the tip to remove the passenger side panel for easier access to the ECU harness. Helped a great deal and my back thanks you.

For your information European GT86 don't have the quick release system on the fuel line so I will need to modify those line tomorrow. In europe we have the oldstyle system with hose clamp!!! like you have in US on the return line but us on the 3 fuel line.

Correct. You will need a -6AN to barb adapter, then use fuel injection hose clamps (NOT worm gear clamps!). We don't have an EU car here to test, but if someone accurately measures and sends us a picture of the line, we'd be glad to offer a metric option for those kits!

Bump for my next purchase! As soon as I source the funds (probably this time next month) I will be doing this mod.

E85+turbo+low compression = high HP and no boom!
