I am chiming in here as this may become a question that arises for us down the road.

We have not had any issues with fitting our overpipe with our larger swaybar. Keep in mind, we have not replaced our stock header either. If an aftermarket header is not designed exactly to spec of the OEM, it could throw off the fitment of the overpipe by a tiny bit, which could be causing the rattle noise.

I'm not saying that the header is the EXACT problem, but it may be something worth looking into.

Have the same problem with the over/down pipe from Nameless. I got the plain jane 2.5" catless w/o res. Used every trick in the book to gain more clearance and now it only does it on initial acceleration and hard turns. The contact is at the underrail, which has only about 3/8" of clearance.

I contated Matt @ Namelss and he agree to take the pipe back and try to figure out the problem. They seem to be a good responsible shop that is willing to stand behind their products. Hopefully they can figure the right angle and solve the problem.

On a side note, the quality of the material and welds appeard to be top notch as I expected.

That was my plan B if Nameless wouldn't do anything for me. But since they are willing to stand behind their product I'd like to give them the opportunity to make it right. Although the shipping cross country and wait thing is a little annoying.

Did you feel the car rocking back and forth by any chance? Any weird buzzer type sound?

We had the same problem with our PLM overpipe and front pipe with freeflow cat. Loosened it up, pushed up on the system while someone else tightened it back up and the vibration is one.

FYI - Mine was fine until I put in a turbo - it started to rattle like crazy. To the point where it left a mark in the frame where it rattled. I put this down to the increased torque, engine movement, new clutch etc. I swapped it out for an AVO overpipe / mid and a Perrin 3" and now there is no thunking.

Was it an avo turbo kit? I just had somebody install some Perrin motor mounts on mine after experiencing same the issue after having my turbo installed
