Overpipe rattle?

So I just upgraded my stock over/frontpipe to a Nameless Front/over pipe combo and now I seem to have a rattle vibration. It seems to happen under acceleration turning left, I called Nameless and they gave me somethings to check which I will. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue with after market pipes?

Could be something is loose. When I installed PPE overpipe with Berk front pipe, it rattled a bit at first and I had a small exhaust leak where the two met. After tightening, the leak has gone away.

Did you have to lift the motor to install the combination pipe?

sorry its not really relavant to your problem.

Yea mines rattle a bit too, sometimes at idle, sometimes at 2-2.5K.. most times it doesn't rattle at all. I just chalk it up to trying to fit an extra large pipe through an opening that was made for the skinny OEM crushed pipe. Something's gotta give..

Stock header?

I would guess the overpipe is running close to the body, and on higher g turns it will push over and rub.

I've not noticed any issues with my nameless over/front pipe with helmholtz and cat.

Did you re use your stock doughnut gasket from the end of the front pipe to the midpipe (or catback depending on what the rest of your system looks like?

Probably hitting the frame. Try to loosen it and push up while you tighten.

What version are you running? I have the 2.5 w/ highflow cat. Never rattles.

so after a some what hot inspection http://i.imgur.com/k60MMOX.jpg

yeah stock header, 2.5 inch high flow without the resonator. I couldn't by hand force it to make contact with the frame and it only really seems to do it under heavy turning loads or first thing in the morning.

Get a roll of header wrap and loop it around a few times.
