Vortech Install question... where does this hex bolt go???

Hi Guys,

I'm ready to start the Vortech install after reviewing the parts list and manual.

There's a hex bolt M12x1.75x40mm that I received in the supercharger mounting hardware kit from Vortech that I have no clue where it goes

I searched through the online manual, reviewed all the pictures, and can't seem to find out where it goes. I purchased the supercharger mounting hardware kit from Vortech to have all NEW bolts (kit was used). Here's a pic of the bolt.

Any ideas, I don't want to have any extra bolts laying around when I'm all done

While that bolt is in the manual for included parts, I don't remember ever using a hex bolt in the install

thanks... I PMed Brian and will call Vortech this morning. No clue where it goes.

Now, time for the install... probably do it in stages and take my time. Pretty crappy all weekend in Chicago anyway

If you need any help with figuring out what does where and what bolt to use let me know I might be able to help you out.

I installed a used kit not too long ago with 95% of the bolts missing lol.

Thanks. Will do. Its been kind of pain sourcing and making sure you have all the parts you should have... but thats the beauty of saving some cash for other things thanks again...

I need to check my car... I'm almost certain mine was a single piece or already assembled.

Of note though, you may have extra stuff. I ended up with extra hoseclamps, an extra coupler, and some extra fasteners/misc hardware.

I was fairly meticulous so I am pretty sure I didn't leave anything out.

The extra hoseclamps, coupler and hardware is right. I think this is the norm with all the kits. As far as this piece you might have had it already assembled but there is a step in the instructions telling you how to put it together and dezoris bitched about the lack of detail for that step during his video lol
