Oh wow, they did delete the thread. It was on there this morning.
Sounds like a real grade-A bunch running that website.

The most humorous part is how naive the OP is. Seriously, you are new this forum and your opening "first" thread is disrespectful and offensive. Really?? lol

his attitude is fairly typical of most kids his age in the tuner car scene... I can't tell you how many I've met over the years and sadly I'm forced to make this broad generalization. While I've met many people over the years who are good people their seems to be a trend from guys around this age...
plus I've never met a cool 240/s13 driver, ugh |

I've met many different types of car enthusiasts in the past. Drifters, racers, autocrossers, dyno queens, euro princesses, show guys, vintage, Corvette owners, ricers, musclecar heads, off-road bros, stance losers, JDM-YO!, and many other sub-cultures. All of which have a few individuals that are, dare I say, elitist. Still, I try to take something away from these meetings and learn from them. Generally with racer and autocross types, one can learn many things on how to be a faster driver or set up a car. One can learn how to properly care for paint and interior with show guys. One also learns that 95% of street driven Corvette owners are nearing retirement age. With JDM guys, one can see that the cost of modifications often cost more than the car it's on. Dyno queens... well it's probably best to wear earplugs and steer clear of the car while it's on the dyno, lest it inevitably blows up.
Anyway, with the other sub-cultures, I find that what I can learn from them is that it's not something I wish to be a part of. Stance, drifters, ricers, etc. I try and try to find something, but I just don't. It still boggles the mind why people do such things to their cars. For example, OP's BRZ. It's your car bro. You have every right to do that to your BRZ. But that doesn't mean I have to like it or your douchey attitude. Kids.
