I replaced most of my suspension bolts last year already when I did suspension work. Would like to see the differences.
Here's the rear shock bolt.

Top: new bolt
Bottom: old bolt

The flange is definitely thicker. I forgot to see if there was a difference on the flange diameter, and I'm too lazy to remove them. Again, MY2014 is confirmed to use the thicker bolt per Subaru parts dealer diagram. I haven't test driven with the new bolt, but I doubt I could tell a difference. I'm guessing the new bolt is supposed to remove any slop in the rear shock? Can anyone confirm?

I still need to see where exactly the front subframe bolts go. I haven't confirmed if the front subframe bolts are on the MY2014 parts catalog.

Where did you take your bolts, at the dealer? And what is the cost?

Yeah, dealer. It was a couple of bucks, but I got a discount (it's a local thing).

This is likely a just a manufacturing improvement marketed as a suspension perk. When it was likely the bolts were inadequite to begin with.

So 4 front suspension carrier bolts and two rear shock bolts. Another thing to add to list.

I wonder if this is something I could just tell the dealer to throw on during my next service. Granted, they'd charge me like $200.

Looking forward to a video of the install, especially for the front bolts.

A few guys from my local forum have these installed. Doesn't make any noticeable difference.

STI steering rack bolts for the tS model on the other hand installed by a group of 10 or so people does seem to improve steering feedback a little bit.

If you're paying regular price on everything, probably $50-60 in bolts and 1 hour for labor. So probably $120-200 total.
