Yes, please. I don't think I'm going to have time to touch my car today after all.

No idea on the Perrin bushing. Tho it does look quite similar to ours...
Swap that out for our bushings and make sure that the angle of the shifter points towards the back. I ran that same setup on my BRZ before i sold the DS and had no issues. Feel free to email me directly if you have any other questions. |

Quick question Anthony, Did oil leak when you removed the stock DS? Also - any vibrations / resonance with the new DS? Installing the same unit in a few weeks on my car.

Yes, but not much. The car was perfectly level, so I lowered the front one notch on the jack stands and that stopped the leak. And no clue about the driveshaft. This problem is keeping me from driving the car for now.

I had no time to even look at the car yesterday, and today I had to cut grass. But I did have time to set it down and see if that changed anything. NOPE.
Video is uploading. It should be done in about 30 minutes. [ame]http://youtu.be/EPKkwIzxEK4[/ame]

I just can't get past the idea that this is caused my the rear shifter stay bushing. That bushing is what locates the shifter. Using a stock shifter or any aftermarket should matter, that bushing will still set the height of the bottom of the assembly. See if there's any play in the bushing if you loosen the bolts. Or go back to the stock bushing.

I appreciate the offer for help though! Once I get some actual mileage on the thing, if an issue arises, I will let you know. But I think we're good.
