Yup that's about right.

This is the thing that drove me nuts with map switched e85 mapping. With NA it really didn't matter since you can't do much damage, but with FI you were never really sure at what point the lines flushed through. I always drove a good 5-10 miles if I changed stuff, but I've received a few panicked phone calls from customers when the car ran like crap after a fillup. No big deal NA, but FI it was a little hair raising.

Now for the inventory...we have a couple of backorders that we're hoping to fill this week. Fittings are due in any day now. The harnesses are here (now in Moto Blue and not green! lol) and the ECA kits are here too. We're going to put in another order with Zeitronix for the ECAs, so if you guys want ECA2 versions, or more red displays now is the time! This way we're allot the right amounts of each and keep prices down by not having tons of inventory.

Also had someone ask so better to post here. If you're worried about scuffing up the brake line paint, just slip some cut hose over two of the lines. That will lift up the kit about a 1/8" and you don't have to worry about it. The sensor is plastic, but it is cheap and easy insurance.

That is exactly what I did I did it for more than just protecting the brake lines though. Love the setup thus far.

So for those who may have the Vortech setup, you may run into a slight clearance issue that is really not that big of a deal. Just to be aware of it so there are no surprises when you go to install your Moto-East FF Kit, here is what you may run into. So the Vortech systems relocate the washer bottle which in turn requires relocation of the filler neck. It places it right where the forward most FlexFuel line sits as you can see in the pics.

So what needs to be done is the filler neck needs to be lowered and then remounted where Vortech has you mount the filler neck with some spacers. I just happen to use some spacers I had laying around but you could pretty much use anything (nylon, aluminum, and steel spacers can all be purchased at your local Ace Hardware). Obviously you would then need to grab yourself a longer bolt with washers and a nut while your there. Again I just used what I had on hand. In addition, to get myself just a hair more clearance to get the filler neck cap on and off easily in the rare event I actually need to fill it I placed hoses I had laying around over the brake lines to lift the sensor a tad and it eliminated any hard parts from being in contact with one another (Not really concerned with that but this happens to kill two birds with one stone). Again you will see the hoses on the lines in the pics. Just slice em down the center and slip em on like a wire loom.

Now I just need to burn through my last bit of gas and refill with corn kernels.

Good news...fittings finally arrived after a prolonged backorder. We now have enough for 5 kits that can ship next week, and we have a bigger order in that should get here in April. Blue displays are discounted 25 off so we match inventory better. Red displays will be ordered monday so if anyone wants one of those please order sooner so we can get it on the PO.

And to try to extend the savings, we're offering this one time GB here: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showt...75#post1617375

This way we can make one big order and pass the savings on to the customer. Afterwards we'll have just one SKU of the most popular combo.

I forgot to come back and mention I too am seeing around 62-65% Ethanol content here in AZ right now too for those who were wondering earlier in the thread.

Can't say enough good things about the Moto-East setup though, good stuff!

Should be all caught up on orders tomorrow! Just waiting for a few more red displays.

Check the group buy thread if you're ok waiting a week or two and want to save $20-50, this allows us to keep inventory low and keep costs down. Otherwise we got enough fittings coming in to get at least 10 more kits out in the next week or two.

Installed this kit last night. The whole thing took maybe 90 minutes, if that. Great quality hardware. I'd highly recommend this to anyone considering flexfuel.

I have been running the kit for a few weeks now and absolutely no issues. I did fill partially up with 93 the other day and I'm sitting at E21 now.

Anyone gotten higher than E75 on their gauge? I'm certain there's no gasoline in the tank anymore. I'm not surprised since it's regulated to a minimum of 70%, but I was curious if anyone's getting better corn elsewhere.

I've seen as high as E77 so far, and last time i filled up i still had between 1 and 1.5 gallons of 93 in the tank.

E%

I've gotten E80 for a second, going uphill (seriously, it seems to go higher)... it's usually E79, E78 in San Diego, CA

I saw mid 80s last year in the middle of summer (I'm in Ohio) - currently I'm getting around E78 registered. I have the same sensor as this kit, but I don't have mike's lines, which are much much nicer.
