Just like a lot of car mods, I think the side markers are mainly based in the pack mentality. Most of the people who are so against them probably wouldn't have ever even noticed them had they not seen someone talking abou them on here. It's just part of car modding. |

It won't open on accident. If something manages to happen to that valve while you're driving, then some spilled oil is definitely going to be pretty low on your list of concerns. If you get a chance to play around with one, you'll understand what I'm talking about.

Haha yeah exactly. I bought the car without even noticing them, then I see so many people like "Ugly side markers, you need clears" and it took me a good 3-4 months before I realized mine were orange. |

Amber side markers are more retro anyway (check out old JDM cars), it's not like you can reprogram the ECU readily to make the clear side markers flash.

Even if state law allows them, keep 'em amber as a courtesy to other drivers. I ordered mine with the OEM trunk liner, but not for carpet protection. I got it because when you put something on that rubber, it stays put. I've been amazed at how I can sling the car around and not have my toolbox slide all over the car. It's a must-have just for that. |

Lightweight crank pulley.
I did this on Saturday, and it transforms the car from a fairly-responsive Drive-by-wire throttle to a car that feels like a cable-throttle car. Makes the car much easier to drive. I'd say get this before anything else (maybe adjust the clutch pedal as well). After that, a heavier shift knob improves shift feel greatly. The stock knob, while not exactly a featherweight, does feel less-than-solid. |
