If you follow the clutch travel all the way to the back, you'll see it hits a thin rubber piece. The hole is behind the rubber piece, you have to take it out to see it

Thanks again for the write up! Bought another after 86 industries never sent me one... Anyways, makes the car so much better to drive! Wound up costing me nearly 80 bucks by the time I ordered another etc... Don't care, worth it!! |

Has anyone combined this with the LOWERING of the actual engagement point? As seen in the DIY thread.

For me it's perfect with stock engagement point combined with the new stop. Faster shifts and much easier to drive smoothly around town. I have always hated the feel of the stock clutch until now |

I'll have to get back to you guys if the forum will let me do a "groupbuy". I'm local to McMaster-Carr in Santa Fe Springs.
I've done this in the past with the JDM Underpanels without any issue. Just to get an idea, how many people would be interested in a complete clutch stop kit costing less than $10 with all necessary hardware including optional washers?

Is the clutch rlease switch down there, could be playing with fire if the ecu does see the switch and doesn't switch to the transient ignition retard table?

It could be an issue if you aren't able to fully disengage the clutch with a higher clutch stop. Every car is different so if you did modify the travel, it may require adjusting the switch. It should be a 14mm nut on the switch that you need to adjust iirc.
