Clutch Engagement Improved!
All hail the WORKS KICK CLUTCH PEDAL STOP!:bow::bow:
I just bought this and installed it (it's a PIA if you have big fingers, but still less than 10 min). If you are the kind of manual driver who typically pushes the clutch all the way to the floor every time you shift - as opposed to only pushing it as far as necessary - then get this and install it. I am in love with the difference it makes. I know it seems silly in theory, and it's a lot of money for what it is, but I really like mindlessly pushing the clutch to the floor and getting quick, consistent engagement. |

I'm with you on the "mindless" part!
Did you adjust your clutch pedal height in the process or it wouldn't work because of not enough pedal travel (low height + bumper)? |
I've adjusted the clutch many times, also tried removing that helper spring. Adjusting the pedal only raises or lowers how high the pedal comes up when not being pushed down, reducing travel from the front end basically. This clutch stopper changes how far down you can push the pedal in, reducing travel from the back end.

In the Speed3 I had there was a convenient place to put in a bolt under the pedal and do the same thing for a few cents. It is a lot easier than training your foot to not go all the way to the floor. Especially when you are ripping through the gears.

Exactly. My friend did exact same thing to his e46 m3. Home Depot should have what you need. |
The hole for that clutch stop is for a #8 size thread.
