Yea they make okayish quality cast wheels , but why support a company that blatantly rips off the designs of other wheel makers.. Like stated because of people supporting knock off stuff is the reason we lost HKS USA and many more...
Because they are cheap and work. I don't currently own any Rota's but have for many years. I don't get the hate towards them when other highly regarded wheels are rip off designs as well just with a highly regarded nameplate.

I've never bent or broke a Rota in 10 years. I have bent or broke Enkeis, Kosei and an SSR.

OP wants this thread deleted. It looks like Guff cleaned up most of the crap. It seems that once his past came out he decided this thread shouldn't exist. I don't believe in that so it's staying, at least I'm not deleting it.

So the truth came out about his past and how he works, and he wants to have his stuff deleted so no one knows about it? Wow. Maybe next time he should use a different username if he's so worried? This reminds me of some certain vendors that used to be on here. Good for you, @Dave-ROR.

Right.

Notice I didn't say anything negative about Rotas.

Rotas work for some people. Some people prefer to spend the extra money. I am all for supporting legit JDM companies that put in the extensive R&D. Some people don't want to/don't have the funds for 3k wheels. Understandable. Times are tough. While I'd personally rather not own them, I don't go around to everybody's threads hating on them. It's their car and their money. Who am I to judge? I may give constructive criticism if something overall looks funky but it's aesthetics, therefore, purely subjective.

Same applies for Coilovers. Are Stance Coilovers the best in the world? No. Are there better options out there for more money? Absolutely. The stance super sports are An entry level, I'll say it again ENTRY LEVEL coilover. They're not supposed to be God's magic suspension system. For the money though, they work damn well and I'm 100% satisfied with them! as are 99% of EVERYBODY ELSE on this forum who runs them. Our money, our cars. So, who gives a fuck?

Bet I have way more fun sliding the shit out of my car on Stance coils at 80mph on the track than some dude cruising in traffic on his Eibach springs...

Isn't that comparing apples to oranges? It seems like you're saying you can't drift a car with springs? Maybe I'm getting the wrong idea. Because, correct me if I'm wrong, you can slide a car at 80MPH on springs and still have fun.

My comment was geared towards his attitude towards Eibachs, and not the quality of Stance.

Also, I have fun sliding in my springs too.

The joke was him slamming Eibach springs and then running Stance. Neither brands make the best suspensions around, but slamming a overall well respected brand for one of the entry level players (albeit a respected one) is a bit comical isn't it? I don't think the guy you were responding to was against Stance coilovers specifically..

I personally couldn't give two craps what the guy does with his car, but that doesn't mean people can't call him out on the things he says. Just like I don't care what people think about my car or what I do with it, they can still poke fun when I say that I'm dumping my Penske's for some SuperDamperTaiwanSpecialCircuit 362 way adjustable coilovers.

I was just making a point that the wheels work perfectly fine, not necessarily directed toward you even though I quoted you.

Yeah, you can. My point is that regardless of the product, I still can go out and enjoy my car on the track just as much as the next guy. Some people can run springs and do the same. Point is, regardless of the product, you can still enjoy the car.

There seems to be a lot of people on here that say Stance products are total crap and don't perform well at all.

Like said, I prefer legit parts too as it helps keep companies alive.. But having springs as opposed to coils or Rotas compared Works doesn't automatically make a car a pile of shit. I've owned over 10 sets of legit JDM company wheels over the years. I got the FRS and got xxrs just to have something for an event that came up a week later. Now I have RPF1s and am waiting for the arrival of some TEs. I still don't hate on my friends that choose to run XXRs or Rotas. I may point out some cheap alternatives from legit companies like Work or Gram Lights but I don't give them shit about it.

They're just cars...
