Got rid of it because I had like 5 240's wanted something new. Instead of selling it I just could not sell it to some random so I just parted it out.

You should know how it is coming from the s chassis world 85% of us rock real wheels. Supporting original companies so they can keep on going, instead supporting a knock off company. Why do you think HKS, D-Max, JIC and so on pulled out of the USA.

Most people buying replicas because of the price probably never would have spent the money on the "real" wheels anyway. Seems like a moot point.

I agree with OP's point on Rota's and Eibachs.

No sense putting decent parts on stanced out, spray painted, mismatched bodywork junkers you're going to dorifto into a wall anyway...

Hi I'm new here. Excuse me while I get all elitist up in your forum.

You want to run $3,000 wheels, be my guest. I know how much it costs to rebarrel one multipiece wheel after it bent on a pothole. No thanks.

I don't even feel like I need to touch on the juxtaposition of your suspension situation. Enough people have covered that trainwreck.

Welcome to the forum, I hope you brought your flame suit with you from zilvia.net. You'll need it if you keep up the way you are.

You commit to no fake wheels, but you bought stance coilovers? That's a bit contradictory...

Too late, man. These are the new Civic, but it's not necessarily a bad thing. The important thing to remember here is that the car itself is amazing; forget about what everyone else does to their cars and focus on enjoying your own. There will always be poorly modified examples of any car (not referring to your car, OP).

Not trying to sound like a douche, but why are you trying to Frankenstein an evo diffuser onto your brz? Had one laying around I'm guessing? Lol

No, not these cars. Now, some other subies? Sort of.

Most guys who I see modding a twin are going for individual taste, not in order to conform or be different.

You find some similarities, but lots more differences. Staying NA or going FI. Different FI options. Aftermarket intake or stock intake. Stock springs, race springs, drop springs, or coilivers, LCAs or stock. Etc.

Some have expensive name brand forged wheels. Some go with something that's affordable instead. Others stay stock.

These aren't turning into Hondas, except that this is an easily modified tuner platform.

The big difference is the quality of the community. If we refuse to become elitist, ricing, jerks, then it's all good.

Start the whole "real wheels or gtfo", and tolerate such, then we're in trouble. Go with expensive forged JDM wheels or not doesn’t matter as long as you responsibly bought something tasteful that you wanted to put on the car.

I'm on my phone so if I make mistakes, blame Sportsguy83

Good point

Although, I am not a fan of these looks with exception to the powder blue sileighty"when he first purchased it.
I can totally agree with the driftxx.
Purchasing legit Japanese parts is commendable.
With all of these copy cat company's
Coming out with imitation parts, a lot of posers want to play with out paying.
This is exactly why greddy BKed, HKS and others left the USA. This is a expensive hobby there is no way around this. People are harping on the look of these cars, But remember this is the guy who is buying the shit a lot of you haters cannot. So the next time you put a TRD sticker, Greddy or Rays enginnering emblem our you cars, remember it's this guy and 10-15% of others on this site who actually keep those company's going so you can do that.

That's just it though, isn't it? You don't have to pay for the overpriced parts to play. Most people drift on Rotas or similar wheels. As most have seen from the intake dyno comparisons, the cheaper stuff sometimes performs much better than the "name brand" equivalents.

People are entitled to put whatever parts on their car from whatever brand they choose. That does not make them a poser. It means they wanted whatever part and they got it cheaper somewhere else. Welcome to a competitive market.

I guess I'm a hater because I think those cars with expensive wheels and poorly fitting panels and lights look like shit.

Oh well... Haters gon hate lulz
