Nice, looks nifty. The core looks much better than the other units out there for sale and with a custom shroud I guess it's not way too overpriced. I wonder if someone else stateside will develop something similar.

This is actually an aftermarket oil cooler by a JDM company called Revolution. You can find it in japanparts.com.

I got the Cusco oil cooler, which is not really able to keep oil temps down with spirited driving but as soon as you relax the temps fall pretty quick and It is great at bringing the oil temp up from a cold start.
I am interested in the new AVO oil cooler and wonder if it would be possible to have both coolers fitted as I dont wanna trash my Cusco one and also would need new radiator pipes as they where cut for the Cusco cooler to feed off. Now I have noticed on the Cusco website a picture of my cooler with a oil temp/pressure attachment between the cooler and the oil filter ![]() So in theory this might be able to be done. Questions: 1> Does this sound like an effective setup? 2> Which arrangement would be more effective, AVO air cooler on first and Cusco water cooler on top or vise versa or no difference? |

1. In theory it could work, but first have to see if you could close the hood with the AVO plate + cusco plate + oil filter...
2. To get the lower oil temp put the cusco first. 3. Keep us post ![]() Quote:
