Just realize you have 8 injectors, not 4. Yes the ports are small at about 225cc or something like that, but add in those direct injectors which maybe close to say ~ 400cc (relative guess) in comparison to port injectors. Now you have yourself what seems like another 600+ cc.

There is a way to run them both with EcuTeK RaceROM, as you need the custom mapping to be able to run 8 injectors versus 4. Basically I found a way to do it and you are the first person to ever really comment on it and ask. So thanks for asking.

Just so I am clear on this, the stock tune has either port or direct injection running at any time? It doesn't blend between the two?

hm...I wonder if this is the issue i'm having. Every once and a while I get what feels like a hesitation or better yet like traction control kicks on with no light, then goes right back to power. I have tried to capture it on a damn data log but every time I do so, it seems I can never catch it lol.

I originally thought it could be a vacuum leak or something. Guess I will have to keep my eye out for this.

What other leak issues have you encountered, other than the few that have been documented on the forums?

Yes. Owner has 16k on OEM parts. Only a matter of time before time for an upgrade.

No, the stock system uses either or both at any given time, and there are a few tables that control the ratios at a given load/engine speed for different coolant temperatures.

Not completely the whole story.

This one also has a catalytic converter and intercooler. Slightly different.

Too boot we pushed Robi's to the bleeding edge for the track, where as the tune in this post is far more realistic for the daily driver.

Bill, you not going to believe, after 2 weeks of a fixed no leak SC, CEL came on PO351 Ignition Coil Primary/secondary circuit.

Whats happening from 6500 and up? Everything looks perfectly happy up to that point. If it were pump gas i would say knock retard but on corn that is less likely.

Finally got a chance to look at the logs again. Basically the timing is going flat at this point. I also believe there maybe an airflow limitation on the intake, though I can not verify that, but the airflow values are also pretty flat at this point.

I have another intake from a reputable vendor coming in that I will be testing on my vehicle soon. Along with the a supercharger or two or three.

Also working on some turbo kit tunes next. AVO is one we have been developing with multiple boost map options. But we have a coupe other kits we are looking into also.

Lot of new developments for next year so keep an eye out.

Cheers,
William Knose
