Good tire plus good driving will keep you out of a lot of bad situations. You cannot account for the other jackasses on the road however. Just jeep your head on a swivel until spring.

Also, everyone remember to re-torque those lug nuts after a hundred miles or so.

Might put some on tonight to tide me over until I get snows for the Audi. Both cars are running super sticky summer tires

I picked up a set of new Sailun Ice Blazer WSL2. Never used them before so we'll see.

Town Fair Tire in Danbury CT sucks balls. Don't EVER use them. I ordered my wheel and tire package 2 weeks ago and they are still not in. One day away my ass.......

Mine went on last night. 205/55R16 Bridgestone Potenza RE92s on 02-05 WRX 16x6.5" wheels.

I had a pretty nerve-wracking drive on Tuesday afternoon. Temperatures a little above freezing, with heavy rain. Following that, I decided it was time to do the swap.

Now I have a friendly little orange TPMS light on my instrument cluster to keep me warm all winter

What tires did you get? But yeah, I haven't read good reviews of that location.

I got mine put installed on Saturday at a location by me and they told me that the TPMS programming is automatic and that they didn't need to do anything to the ECU. If I knew they were going to say that when I bought them, I would've saved myself the $86 set I got on ebay and not worry about it.

Now I'm wishing I took them up on the offer of free hubcaps to protect the exposed hub...hahaha. Preferably black ones so I can be chillin like KITT from Knight Rider.

Put these on the wife's Prius C. Seem like good tires especially for the money.

Just had my winters mounted on the OEM rims (will be getting new tires and wheels for summers). Ready for the snow! Can't wait, first time driving a stickshift RWD in snow.

Along those lines... anyone planning on putting weight in the trunk? Or portable shovel?
