That's one of my pet peeves! Why do people have to pull up until their front tires hit the curb?

Just pull it in the spot way less than your instinct at first says. You'll get used to it. it's a short car you don't need to go in too far.

Exactly. You either have to back in or back out (unless you score a "drive thru"). Our cars have a deceptively short tail end so you're more likely to leave plenty of space between the curb and your rear. Now you get to pull out of the spot rather than back out, which is much safer and easier to do. Win win.

This car isn't low. Ground clearance is a pretty normal 6 inches.

It feels low because you sit on the floor. The car itself is normal height off the ground.
