Did anyone go with their EL header? I'm curious how it will do.

I'm willing to guess they told you exactly how they are going to handle the exchange and it probably involves waiting. Which we all know you HATE waiting. While I appreciate your diligence in bringing product defects to the attention of the builders, can you stop fucking crying every chance you get?
Wrong. Right. No.

Looks like mine has finally started it's tracking process (using USPS) and should be here Thursday. Can't wait to get some pictures and record some video of it!

I've had a UPS tracking# from JDL since 9/27, no activity at all. Emailed them twice about it, waiting on their response. So tired of this whole mess.

That's bizarre, they've usually been very responsive via email. I'd try giving them a call and see what's up.

Going on 6 days with a tracking # and no shipping activity

Bummer. Feels like it will be Christmas by the time I get mine.

I saw Ronnie last night... I think he has been sick this past week. He sounded pretty rough last night. Although im sure there are others there capable of shipping a box lol

Just got a response from Ronnie. Apparently Jesse wasn't happy with the first one he built me and he's currently building me another one which will ship tonight, hopefully.

@Jesse@JDLAutodesign , if you're reading this, thanks man. I really appreciate the effort you've made to deliver a flawless product.

Can't wait to see some results. By any chance are some of you guys that have orderd this already FI? I'm trying to determine if I want to spend the money for this header and a before and after dyno on a FI car will be the deciding factor for me.

I think ft_sjo has a Sprintex twin screw on his car paired with this header (for now), and @moto-mike may have one on their Innovate shop car as well, not sure if they got one yet. I would expect this header to add a bunch of midrange torque and a good bit of top end power with a SC application just as it does on an n/a application, just more pronounced. Assuming you've got a full headerback to supplement, IMO you shouldn't have a problem getting the 280whp with E85 that Kraftwerks have already achieved with their Rotrex kit paired with a Skunk2 header and exhaust.

Expect two days of n/a track testing at Road Atlanta and a review with GoPro footage from me at the end of this month if all goes according to plan. Should at least give you a good idea of how the header will handle sustained high-rpm usage. I'm pretty confident as long as my tune is dialed in right and I keep temps in check it will perform flawlessly.

Bob at Drift Office has posted results of the HKS headers with the Vortech kit and the results have been unimpressive and he has questioned whether the money is worth being spent here. His dyno testing indicated this car gets good power gains from adding a header to a NA setup but is not so dramatic with a FI setup. JDL may be different though. Hell, I may want it just for the sound
