There are 20 people in the group buy after it was extended. I am #11.

Slipped my mind that more people got onto the GB after me, not even sure what number I am exactly and it probably doesn't matter because...

I know what you mean, man. I'm running a stock header in a full 3" exhaust. I hate the stock header with a passion after working on it. Can't wait to trash it. Been waiting since mid July.

I got mine because I took a chance on a coated header with the old style flexes. I'm assuming a few people passed on it.

Those of you who have received their headers, did you also get a JDL t-shirt? Reason I ask is because if there are different sizes available, I was never asked what size I wanted.

I've had a tracking number for 4 days now and it still doesn't look like it has left their shop since UPS has no tracking yet.
I was hoping I would receive my header this week.

I think they print out their own tracking labels with the wishful hope that they may actually ship something. I had a couple of labels which never happened.

Going by the very few comments in this thread, I am not not confident that many people have actually received their product. I only know of a few (of course that doesn't mean others haven't)...

JDL are not really responding to this thread of late, they're ignoring my emails (i've sent three over a period of a month asking when they intend to replace my faulty manifold).

They asked me what size I wanted. They run true to size. I didn't notice anything unusual about the tracking info.

I'm willing to guess they told you exactly how they are going to handle the exchange and it probably involves waiting. Which we all know you HATE waiting. While I appreciate your diligence in bringing product defects to the attention of the builders, can you stop fucking crying every chance you get?

I'm really interested in this header but would want it sometime in December to install with my SC kit. Judging by what I'm seeing in this thread there is no chance in hell that would happen if I ordered now or do regular orders get filled before group buy? Seems like there are virtually none of these out in the wild. @stockysnail is a friend of mine and he's been waiting for an eternity it seems.

The group buy is winding down from their facebook posts and recent tracking numbers that went out. Not sure what their backlog of normal orders looks like. It is a really insane header though. Definitely the best UEL on the market.

IIRC the reason we group buyers have been waiting an eternity is because JDL took payments back in late April before have any materials for all 20 orders after they advertised with their prototype. Then they were short staffed a welder for a while so production was a snail-pace. Then when they finally hired another welder they ran into flange supplier issues (delays), then when they finally began shipping in early July the first few customers had skidplate clearance issues alongside flex bellow noise issues and had to redo all the jigs and get a new flex bellow supplier and rebuild all the existing headers (delays). We are now receiving a header that has different flanges, different (quieter) flex bellows, and different (better) fitment than the prototype that was originally advertised.

All that coupled with the fact that there are 3 guys at this shop that regularly experienced 100F heat INSIDE this summer in Phoenix not only building products for our cars but for several other platforms as well has translated into 5-6 month wait for us. I'd hope that those who ordered now post-group buy will not be burdened with a wait like ours.

lol... 100F was on the low end! :P
