Does visconti offer map switching on his flex fuel. Last I saw he does not. I beleive fa20 does offer this option. It would be nice to have my racerom features back.

Visconti's last ROM (1.00b4) had just one map, with only a few options enabled - @FA20Club enabled map switching for me, but I'm waiting on a few tune updates because compared to the Visconti map I have a torque dip problem (have P&Ls header and it was tuned out) and the AFRs are showing way leaner than John's map..... hopefully will get a response from him soon.

This is something I wish we had more information on even if ecutek could tell us. I still don't have any maps (even tho I requested them for the second revision, no big deal considering I get it dynoed Friday) but if I did not have Toni to speak to I would have absolutely NO idea what maps are used for what which could be an issue if your running an e85 map vs na.

That's because without toni, none of your maps would exist really. Each tuner has the freedom to set the maps how they (and their customers) prefer. It would be hard for ECUTek to put out some standard official corporate documentation on what each map number does, because it will be different for most people.

I would think that EcuTek could probably put a feature into ProECU giving the tuner a description field for map on the rom a description (i.e., "93 Oct, 8psi" "E85, 12psi" or whatever they want really. It would be even better if they could also allow the user to see (or even manipulate) checkboxes displaying which racerom functions have been enabled on for each map.

I have 93 octane on map 1,map 2 is 93 octane with Launch Control+Flat Foot Shifting, map 3 is E85, and map 4 is E85 with Launch Control+Flat Foot Shifting. I am going to try out the Auto Blip Downshift feature on maps 2 and 4 to see how I like it. I usually double clutch all my downshifts but every once in a while, while braking really hard, it would be nice to use the auto blip if it works as advertised.

Sorry for side tracking the thread with all the map switching talk...it really is cool to be able to switch on the fly!! I'm planning on a similar setup to Brandon's once I'm running boost

THIS - if there was one feature I'd like from EcuTek it's the ability to view all the race ROM settings - even if I can't touch them. 4 maps, custom setup can be interesting remembering what is setup on which map! If they aren't something that is "tunable" or something that kicks on at a limit (say rev limits) I don't see why they couldn't bake into the software the ability for the end user to tweak some of those settings as I wouldn't think they'd affect the overall tunes.... correct me if I'm wrong!
