There is one hose that runs from the intake manifold to the fuel vapor vent solenoid and then the hose you have pictured goes from the solenoid to the fuel tank to get the fuel vapors. So you need 3 hose clamps, one for the hose on the intake manifold and two for the hoses on the fuel vapor vent solenoid.

Not at all.

It was freaking my girl out when it would sputter. She thought yer baby was in pain.
And she was worried that she way in the way of u guys.

But she has decided to be a guinea pig on Pete's stage 1 + system.

So are you all done or need to still do some fine tuning?

Perfect! We'll try that out Monday morning if I can take another day off without getting fired.

Once the hoses are clamped in place we'll need to do some more runs and see if the latest tune LJ sent runs well. I wonder if this was causing issues on previous pulls...

good luck, from the numbers yesterday..... it looks like your car is going to be a beast.
And remember works dyno reads a bit lower than most.

High boost guys will experience this, Subaru never expected positive manifold pressure so they didn't put clamps on some hoses. With 10 psi and below is fine but anything over will most likely have problems.

So finally you may have found your mechanical problem?

It amazes me that customers of all these turbo kits aren't told to pressure test the system before trying to map the car.

I guess.
He said he might want another one, and I said sure.
It's not official yet though.

Long update, in rant form.

Went back up to WORKS this afternoon. They took the intake manifold off and clamped down everything in sight. Flashed to LJ's latest revision and tried a pull. The car hit 7k and stalled once we let off. Looked under the hood...found another hose had blown, doh. Clamped it down and continued.
We didn't have much time to push the car anymore or fine tune but it still put down very respectable numbers. There used to be a very noticeable hesitation with the on-set of boost. No more!

LJ@FullBlown I can't thank you enough. Car is finally drivable! I didn't get to push it much yet, but I was able to get on it once in 2nd @ 4k rpm......sweet jesus. LJ has made himself available during MANY nights to help me through the pain. Seriously. awesome. support.

And...for the reason you're reading.

Stock w/ Perrin resonated cat-back = 145.4whp
6.9 psi springs on WORKS tune = 293whp
15 psi springs on LJ@FullBlown's tune = 372.9whp

I don't have a print-out of the AFRs. It was as high as 13.7 and as low as 11. We'll fine tune that later with street logs.

Lastly, there was a '12 Vantage GT4 on right before me that hit 360whp. Damn it feels good
