I would say that is most definitely catering to a small market segment, and I would not be surprised at all (nor would I be pissed) if that model came with steelies instead of factory designed alloys. Infact this car itself is catering to a small market segment. This isn't a corolla, a camry, nor an Avalon. They're not going to make big $$ of this car. |

i know there are some wheels that are reasonably priced and high quality. i guess even with the $250 wheels, we would still need to have $2000 knocked off the price for wheels and tires alone to come out ahead. i think a more reasonable price reduction for steelies would be $500-800.i think it might be better if they put nicer alloys on that we can sell to offset the cost of aftermarket wheels. -Mike

Yeah, thats what I keep on going back and forth with in my head, get it when the car first comes out cause I can't wait any longer, or wait until they release the other models (TRD or otherwise) of the car which I would rather have when it comes down to it.

I dont mind waiting but i just need to know if and when, for me the more i wait the more money i can save the more i can pay it off faster. If this car is for sale end off this year i can put down $10,000. I hope by the time this is on the dealer i can pay cash i hope, cant wait this maybe my last full track project. |

Thats not BMW and Toyota. Thats BMW and the Lexus luxury car divison of TMC.
By your philosophy, VW Group owns Lamborghini...so I guess we can take all the direct competitors for the Golf and pair them up against a Gallardo. |

I am done in this thread, I am not an arrogant, or upset person, But this is turning me into one and becoming extremely frustrating. What I really hope is that EVERYONE gets the options they want on the car. If thats ugly steel wheels, so be it. The car should be enjoyed, not disputed over. My beliefs remain the same and I hope we all love the FT86. |

I'm not to sure if its going to be part of the premiere model year lineup though. Thats a good question. I hope it is because I plan on buying an FT in its first year out, bring on the problems, I really don't care. |
