Why did you put it on a dyno if you didn't feel it was running right?

It was probably way rich would be my guess, but as I have mentioned before, the advantage of the AEM Failsafe gauge is that it stores your last 3 hours of driving, so you can pull the data and look at it if you weren't datalogging with EcuTek.

I have yet to drive this car fast, or even on a fun road. Someone keep my hopes up please

Honestly - I didn't realize they were putting it back on the dyno. When I brought it there for install over a month ago I asked them to do a before/after, but we ended up not doing one for that reason. This time I brought it back for clutch, engine mounts, fuel pump re-install w/ 4 o-rings. They wanted to see if it resolved the fuel starvation I thought I was seeing. I didn't realize they had until I got there.

I do believe the gauge is configured right as I've pulled logs off it before. I was logging through ecutek so I haven't had to look at the AEM logs lately. Was only using it before my cable was sent.

I was logging through EcuTek the whole time, I'll shoot them over to you.

afr logging

And here's the most recent map from Visconti.

Both of these are quick pulls stopping at 5k revs. Now that I know how to use aemdata I can probably scale these better for future logs.

Neither of those AFR curves look all that great, but I like seeing other people using the useful data that the AEM Failsafe provides.

Absolutely. I didn't know it had data logging before ordering. I do wish the aemdata app was more intuitive. It really doesn't seem to be geared for this data. Lap times, track data, blah.

This one looks like it's holding closed loop way too long, your at peak boost and it's still 14:1... no good. Shoot me the ecutek log of this pull if you have it and I will let you know if they need to change the way they are handling the closed to open loop transition.

This one has a nasty lean spike (16.5:1) during spool up. Was it still showing -3 / -4 knock correction like the last map?

I would not consider either one of those maps safe to keep doing pulls on.

-5. Every log I've seen has had the same amount, no less, no more. I believe it's right as boost starts to spool, before it goes crazy rich.

This. It's my biggest worry. I don't drive the car outside of giving John a log and taking it to the shop for supporting mods. I really really want to drive this car without worrying about it knocking. The original plan was to get the 91 map looking good then switch to E85 right away, it's just been weeks into the process for 91
