Yeah I bought it a while back. It's still sitting in the box in a room. Haven't messed with it till I get the other stuff.

I talked to the parts guy at my local dealership. He said the "release series " parts are not avaloble to him yet and they do not even have a price yet for them. Anyways he stated that the panel itself "should be " be plug and play aero reign to the "rs" diagram and the regular frs diagram. However the temps will be the same and fully functional. The only question is which harness or what needs to be done in order to get he " dual " aspect to work. I know a lot of people want the "dual " so it's a true jdm 86 swap. With trial and air I am sure it's possible and a matter of trial and air. However once avaloble to order for me I am still going to get the panel for the fact I like the way it look and have my tech play with the electronics to figure out what is needed and how much and if its cost effective. I would say with the demand it's pretty safe to say this is just speculation but I am sure the 2015 or 16 model this would be an option since scion thing is customizing the vehicles.
I will keep updated once it becomes avaloble to me the parts that is. In the mean time I am sure it's possible just a matter of trial and error.
Thanks
Dan

@Mrqb22 good stuff Dan! I will have my unit in a few weeks and will find a way to wire it up! Its good to know that your parts guy also thinks this can be done, just not with "true dual".

I'm looking forward to this mod with or without the dual climate, I just want to get rid of the hideous looking knobs.

@blanco I am not going to be installing pushstart. I like the bigger storage tray next to the USB and I already made a flip key

There is a DIY on installing a push start system if you are interested:happy0180:

I'm just curious if the wiring is taped somewhere in the fr-s. if I went push start I would prefer oem and not the third party kits. No one has addressed it so far, just speculation. Worst case it's wiring, harness, ecu = not worth it.

There are a few taped bundles of green colored wiring that has no connectors. One being directly behind the head unit and another that's right behind the hood latch button panel. I'm not sure if the BRZ limited/GT86 has those extra bundles laying around. They might be used for some of the functions?
