Although the BRZ and FR-S are virtually identical mechanically, the one aspect of the BRZ and FR-S that does stand apart are the front and rear fascias, including their headlights. Many wondered if the BRZ headlights could be fitted onto the FR-S and if so, how it would look. Here’s our answer.

Today, Toyota confirmed the participation of the all-new GRMN Sports FR Concept based on the Toyota 86 at the famous Goodwood hillclimb in the UK.
The track concept was built by Toyota’s motorsports partner Gazoo Racing, which boosted the standard model’s 2.0-liter flat-four boxer with the addition of both a turbo- and supercharger that lift output from 200hp to 315hp (320PS) and peak torque from 205Nm (151 lb-ft) to 421Nm (310.5 lb-ft).

Fuji Heavy Industry just announced they have received more than 5,000 orders for the Subaru BRZ as of the end of May (just two months after its release).
The most popular version was the “S” and 70% of the orders are manual transmission. Kimihiko Sato, BRZ Project Manager added that: “Even though we have a full production at the Gunma Plant, if you place your order now, the expected delivery date will be in March or April of the year 2013.”
