Here’s a nicely produced video to start off your week with – featuring the GT86 drive sessions at the Algarve Circuit in Portugal.

Here’s what looks to be a very impressive widebody 2JZ FR-S / 86 build from Impression Garage in Thailand.

It’s said to have been finished in a mere 4 weeks, working around the clock. Check out the video footage after the jump.

Wald International has released one of the more aggressive aero kits we have seen thus far for the FR-S [photos].

No official info has been released from Wald (other than these photos), but the kit seems to include a front spoiler lip, skideskirts, fender add-ons, duck tail spoiler and new rear diffuser.

A quad exhaust is also pictured, as well as two tone wheels and lowered suspension.

If there’s been any knock on the BRZ/FR-S it’s that it could perhaps use a bit more power. Power hungry owners no longer have to worry about this as the first turbo kit for the FR-S/BRZ has hit the market [full details].

At the heart of the turbo kit by Accelerated Performance is a Garrett GT28RS turbo. They claim up to 350hp with a full set of supporting modifications.

The full kit includes turbocharger, overpipe, downpipe, intercooler, intake, among other smaller parts. Check out the details inside – specs, photos, and videos.

So not only are these cars fun, they’re safe! That’s what the results of the ANCAP crash tests have confirmed as the FR-S/BRZ/86 earned a full 5 star rating.

Check out the videos and ANCAP safety evaluation inside.

The GT86 is among a 24 performance car group which has been reviewed by Top Gear in its upcoming magazine issue.

A short video preview shows Jeremy Clarkson sitting in the 86 and describing its ample sliding abilities. Can’t wait to read this one!
