Subaru showed off a matte grey BRZ at the 2012 Leipzig AMI auto show which kicked off over the weekend. While we’re not fans of the lime green accents on the exterior and interior of the BRZ, the matte grey certainly looks great!

Arsenal Autosport has wasted no time taking to the track with their FR-S, at the Palm Beach International Raceway in a Global Time Attack event.

Watch the in-car track footage of their FR-S with Hawk brake pads, Motul brake fluid, and 245/45/17 Michelin PSS tires.

Seven FT86club members gathered to mark the largest North American FR-S owners gathering/meet yet. 4 Whiteout, 1 Raven, 1 Hot Lava, and 1 Firestorm FR-S were in attendance at the meet, held in Torrance, CA (LA county).

Torrance was an appropriate venue as it’s where Toyota’s US HQ is located. Check out some photos after the jump.

Pricing for the Toyota GT86 has finally been announced for Australia. It’s one of the last major markets to receive pricing, but our members from down under have been rewarded for their wait with some aggressive pricing.

The GT86 has been priced from $29,990 RRP / $33,748 Drive away. The 86 GTS model will be priced from $35,490 RRP / $39,468 Drive Away. The car officially goes on sale on June 18th.

The Scion FR-S / Subaru BRZ feels right at home on the track, but a rally cross track is not the first type of track that comes to mind when thinking of this car. Nevertheless, that hasn’t stopped Cusco from giving rally duties to its Toyota 86.

Sure, it looks like a jacked up 4×4 now, but this goes to show you the flexibility of this platform. Action footage and photos inside.

Autocar reports Toyota and Subaru are working on ways to sharpen the GT 86, BRZ and Scion FR-S triplets. While that may mean buyers could see a convertible version of the sports coupe as soon as 2014, engineers are also working on a variety of other improvements, including a new track telemetry system. Using an onboard black box, the gadgetry will record a slew of data from track days.

That’s nothing new, but the cool part is buyers will then be able to upload and compare their times with other FR-S owners via Sony PlayStation. The report says Toyota is currently working to map major tracks around the world… Continued HERE.
