Red/ green coolant
Well... I've been worrying about something I did a week ago.
I lifted the hood to check the coolant level and noticed it was very close to the minimum, was busy and late so I didn't have time to go to the dealers and ended up topping it up at a gas station (pretty simple right?) I had a red colored coolant originally and the guy at the station tops it up with green coolant before I had time to notice. Do you think this is a problem? Do I need to take it to the dealers and get it flushed? Everything is normal at the moment. Engine temp, performance etc. |

We just went down this road with @radroach
You may wish to review this thread: http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98812 Hey, new to automobile folks, unless you live where it gets down to -40 degrees F, if your coolant level is just a little low, I suggest you top it off with distilled water, as a "fix" for your OCD ...... ![]() humfrz PS - an "interesting" historical read: http://www.caranddriver.com/columns/...ich-antifreeze Last edited by humfrz; 12-15-2015 at 06:35 AM. |
