3.7 Final Drive

I did it with my turbo Busa to give me slightly less wheel spin and to give me longer slower revs. I can't locate a final drive that is small like 3.7:1

Help

Search.. Then find the Lexus IS300 final drive. Or buy one from Weir Performance for the 86-92 supra. There is a BUNCH of information on final drives on this forum if you search it using Google. Or buy my 3.91!!

Going to this thread

http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=49288

Pointed me to here

http://weirperformance.com/finaldrivegears.html

Looks like they may be able to get used 3.73 gears or even 3.58. Probably have to call and see if they have it in stock

Calm down kiddo. It says it right there on the page "used ratios available" then it lists the 3.58 and 3.73 ratios. Sooooooo

Find a lexus IS300 with an M85 differential (3.73) and direct swap that into your car. Problem solved. You can pick them up at various car yards for ~$250 for the whole pumpkin. Weir performance with solid spacer is a good solution too if you plan to rebuild current one.

Huge thanks. I rather just purchase a used rear, flush fluid and install. Atleast I'll have the factory granny rear for backup.

I swapped in an M85 diff into my FRS. Was a direct fit.
