Oil temp sensor install help

I got the innovate mtx-d oil temp/pressure gauge. Pressure will b coming from the galley plug, but no idea where to put the huge oil temp sensor. Too big to T off the oem 1

get a sandwich plate for the oil filter area?

Already got my oil cooler there and I've had bad experiences with doing things like that and a gasket going out

T off the oil cooler? Not ideal but will work if you put it in pre cooler
