Red line?
Hell, I've reached the rev limiter many times. I don't think it's possible to over rev the engine.

I don't always reach the red line, but when I do, crickets come out of the tail pipe!

Its up to you, its your car after all. High loads are not easy on the engine, but it can take some abuse. How many times a day no one knows and no one can tell you exactly, as some engines go pop, some engines keep going.

With how slow this car is, sometimes its a required thing to make that needle hit over 7000 to pass that Honda Odyssey!

I tend to baby all my cars. The only time I come close to red line is when I take an on ramp and I need to reach high way speeds. Other than that there's really no need. But I do take corners pretty hard.

Redline it as much as you want. Just don't do it like 50 times a day. I probably do it 20 times.

The rev limiter is there for a reason. It's a safety measure. If it wasn't completely safe to go to 7400rpm, they would have set the rev limiter lower So redline that shit!

Thenk again, check your car is running at normal temperatures and check you have oil

You can hit red line any time you open the throttle enough to do so.
