First to reach 1,000 miles?
Let's have a little contest to see who gets their car out of the break in period first. Some rules: Post a picture of the odometer. No road trips...the manual says not to drive at the same speed for an extendid period of time, so if you put a couple hundred on the interstate, forget it, that defeats the point. Also, 2 categories, one for first 86ers, one for us regular folk WHO STILL HAVENT EVEN SEEN THE FREAKING THING YET!!!! (OK, maybe I'm the only one who hasn't even seen it yet, but you get the point.)

The interstate -could- work, you would just have to drive a little more... 'erratic'. Getting it up to 4k, engine braking down to 2.5-3k and perhaps back to 4k again soon, repeat.

I am a non-86er. I have gone 520 miles in my firestorm FRS since I got it Friday afternoon. And I never use cruise control. I just dont like it.

Wow, so that game ended pretty quick. Those of you over 1000 mi, how are you liking the car now that you can feel free to rev past 4K?

I hit 1k on my way to work this morning. I pulled over, said a prayer to the car gods, lit a candle, then took off!
