Grind Into 5th Gear

Has anyone experienced a grind in the transmission when switching from 4th to 5th gear? When im on the highway and switch to 5th gear it never fails to have a grind in the shift.

This happened to me for a while but not consistently. Switched to Motul Gear 300 and it went away.

I've had it grind from 6 to 5 while cold. It's also a bit stiff in general when it's cold. Warmed up, it's all good. This is even after switching to Motul Gear 300.

Factory fill, lots of track hours, no issues when warm.

Grind Into 5th Gear

Use to happen a lot till I changed out engine oil... I don't know how don't ask me. lol

But after that it happened once at 5th on highway after a day of track. I think stock trans fluid is passable but can use something better for sure.
