Water leaking but not from ac

Today I drove my frs to work and noticed that there was water leaking on the passenger side wich is weird because I did not use my ac this morning

Why would water leak without ac use?

Was the fan on at all?

The AC compressor will kick in regardless of if the A/C is on or not in order to remove moisture from the air in your car when the fan is on.

if your have your ventilation nob turned on to defrost the front windshield = your AC is on regardless of whether or not your AC button is pushed.

Come to think of it this happens only in the morning when I use my defrost

I didn't know that the ac turns on even tho there is no indicator light

Seems like a common issue on the twins based on all the other threads - the drain tube for the a/c condenser gets blocked, and the water subsequently leaks into the passenger foot well. I have the same problem, going into the dealership on Saturday to get the leak fixed.

Then dont worry about it, it's just the condensation from your A/C. You'll notice it alot more if you live in a place that gets very humid.
