How wide can I go?

I want to know. What is the widest wheel/tire I can put on the back? Everything will remain stock. What would be a good stagger then for the front wheels? I'd like them to be smaller than the back. I was wondering what this will do for handling for the car? (Better/worse) and then I want a nice lip on theat back wheel, so what's a good offset? Thanks everyone for your help!

Also going staggered will generally increase understeer, for optimal handling keep it square.

Thanks. If it'll make my car under steer then I don't want that. I love how this thing handles. But Ill have to figure out a good off set so the back wheels have a nice wide lip and look wider than the front wheels

Yeah, the wheel guide should help. A lot of examples there of staggered wheel setups. 9.5 width wheels seem to be a common rear wheel that people choose. Some of the rims have a decent amount of lip. While 10 inch and above will have a ton of lip. But that might just be too wide seeing as you don't want the understeer.

Ya. I want it to look like my back wheels wider than the front. I might go like 8.5 back 8 in front. Then the difference won't be so drastic. Idk if it'll affect handling as much then. I've never had a car with staggered wheels. But I know I want a nice big back lip

If you care about handling, I suggest against a staggered setup considering you intend to leave everything else stock.

why dont you find wheels of the same width but different offsets? lower offset in the rear to make it look wider but it really wont be and your handling characteristics will be basically the same.

1. Didn't relies the handling part of it. But I do know so I'm glad you guys said something.
2. The different offsets was my solution to keeping the wheels the same width but still getting the look I want.
3. How is it the wrong car? Not like I'm trying to stagger wheels on a civic? It's rear wheel drive. Like any muscle car people stagger wheels on. Only it's not a good deag car. Fat tires in the back just look sweet. But I'm not compromising my handling, I'm going to get stickier than stock tires, so handling is something I care about, the cars fun to slide around, but I don't have the $$ to be getting new tires all the time.

4. I just don't know how to figure out what offsets to get. That's why the wheel guide is kind of confusing and I just out right asked my questions.

The car is never the wrong car if it's what you want.
That's a near-sighted view of anything.

I went 8.5/9.5 but I have coil overs and I have played around with the front camber/toe to counter any under steer.
It now turns in faster than it ever did with the original setup, and the bigger rears give great grip so my ass end doesn't slide out unless I really want it to.

Grip is more important to me than looking like some douche wannabe-DK

If you look around, the "douche wannabe-DK" are the ones with staggered setup.

Thats still how I feel about them however.
