EMERGENCY I NEED HELP PLEASE

i have been driving my 2014 scion frs for apprx. 3 months. When my car is in neutral and off i am able to put my car in any gear from 1 to 6 is that normal? i mean i turned my car off and put it in neutral and took my key out the egnition and put the ebrake up then for some reason im able to move my gears into 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th and 6th is this normal? or is my car fucked? please help this is my second stick shift car and im clueless at this point.

There's actually a TSB out for this issue guys.

Take it in to the dealership and explain to them what's going on. It'll only take a couple hours to fix and unfortunately about $3-4k depending on your location.

On the bright side you'll have paddle shifters afterwards.

First of all.


2nd. Since your car is 3 months old, how in the world is ANY problem constitute an emergency when you're under warranty. Hell...you even have roadside assistance to tow it to the dealer if needed.
