PROS

Springs - Cheaper, legal (In states where coilovers aren't)

Coilovers - Ability to adjust height and damper settings. Also camber depending on the type.

DIFFERENCE

A Spring just replaces the stock spring around your stock shock. The length or spring rate will determine the stiffness of your suspension and height of your car. These cannot be adjusted unless you couple the spring with an aftermarket skock.

A Coilover is like an aftermarker spring and shock in one unit.

Thanks so much!! Very useful info, you happen to be running Springs or coilovers?

I have a set of Eibach Pro Kit springs for now. They just drop the car 1" or 25mm.

Coilovers.

Your stock strut is not engineered to be used with lowering springs. You're going to blow your stock struts sooner than you should and then you'll have repurchase new struts.

Might as well do it right the first time and have coilovers because they're engineered to be lowered.

When I had my Altima, they weren't satisfied with the Megan Racing EZ because it didn't lower the car enough for their liking. I don't know if the issue is still here.

I'd go with the EXTREME LOW by BC Racing... just because MOAR LOWWW.

As far as I'm aware, the only blown struts that have been reported were a result of bad spring installation. And even though though the dampers may be under a little more stress, our cars were actually designed to have optimum geometry at an 20mm drop.

But you left out the only important bit. Why are asking this? show or go?
