PDX tire shop recommendations?

I've just bought some new tires for the summer and was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on where to get them changed out in the Tigard/Portland area.

..or should I not worry and just let the jokers at Les Schwab do it?

I always use Garth at AnT Tire/Trackside Motorsports. He is a true enthusiast and always gives me a good deal and the straight story. He is on Interstate Avenue in Kenton, just north of Lombard, not far south of PIR.

I'd go to Ely out in Hillsboro. He works out of his garage and always does great work. Only $10 mounted and balanced! Most drifters in the Portland area know who he is.

How would I go about finding this reclusive tire guru?

Any issues there with removing TPMS sensors? I don't really need a set in my track wheels.

I can't say for sure (only taken him aftermarket wheels without TPMS) but will ask when I talk to him later this week and post up here.

His phone number is 503.516.3516. Just give him a call and say you heard about his work from Levi, he'll let you know when he is available. Super chill guy and does great work, I've been going to him for years.

Glad it worked out! I didn't make it back there until today. No problems with TPMS for me either!
