Portland shop use for BRZ/FR-S owners

Hey you BRZ-/FR-S-heads. I've got a nice little man cave in SE Portland with tools, a lift and a giant air compressor. I barely use it, but if any of you guys need to put the car in the air or do some mods then let me know. I'd be more than happy to help out.

1535 SE 80th Ave

(probably have to include some kind of release waiver just in case, since I've heard horror stories... but still)

Dang I'm jealous. I may need to bother you sometime. A lift is killer to get some work done with.

Yeah, I always wanted a workspace where I could work on cars in a relaxed way. It always ends up being at night, when it is cold and raining. It's way better to have music jamming and it's warm and well-lit.

I'm sure that I'll be knocking out some spring installs pretty quick... maybe some exhaust swaps, etc. It's cool being able to help out. Look forward to meeting some of you guys.

PS: You must bring me some beer for AFTER the install, haha.

Darren ill be sure to stop by and say hi and take a look around on my trips down to Portland. Maybe we can colab on a project one day. I support grassroots builders and the small time enthusiast movement. Your man cave open to us members is a prime example of what i support.

Hoping one day to start a more intimate NW enthusiast chapter beyond the fourms.

Yeah WoW, you're always welcome. I keep beer at the shop for those who don't owe me any, so give me a shout and you can stop by and share a couple.

I've founded a couple of car clubs and organized a few enthusiast events in my past... got a little turned off when I realized that most xB owners were a little strange, but maybe FR-S/BRZ owners will be more ummm.... adjusted? Hehe.

Sweet! Thanks Darren. I will take you up on that offer. One of the first few mods I will be doing is exhaust so I'll need to lift the car up.

BRZ owners should be more "adjusted" as you say.

The drive from Seattle to Portland isn't all that bad. I get to see that Nuclear Reactor on I-5, heheh.

I'm 36 and had parents in Portland and Tacoma, so my childhood was spent going back and forth the operational Trojan powerplant. It is strange to me that the cooling tower is missing... no steam rising into the clouds.

wow, very jealous.

After I got my BRZ, I took a look at my tool set and realized... it's time for an upgrade. My 54 piece set isn't going to cut it anymore. Time to save up for a nice set of crafstman wrenches and tool box for the garage.

Don't forget, Harbor Freight Tools have lots and lots of industrial grade tools on the cheap

I've been "surviving" on harbor freight tools for the past few years. A few of them are great- breaker bar for 9 bucks? heck yeah- but I think I could use a real tool set that will last me the rest of my life, so I don't haveto re-buy all the harbor freight junk that breaks on me every few years.

Definitely man. I ordered some extra suspension goodies so I can have them sitting around for other BRZ/FR-S owners when they want to lower their car. I'll post more about that when the parts actually arrive.
