how do i remove the trunk garnish?

how do i remove the trunk garnish? i want to remove it so i can wrap it in vinyl. i would like to know how to remove the subaru badge as well.

Remove the Subaru badge!?!? Blasphemy!!!! You sir, have a special place in hell waiting for you...

But in all honesty I thought the emblems are all on via tape, so heat them up, and the interior is held on by pins inside....

Touch that Subaru emblem and your still going to hell though.

k that dont really help me much....
i have the interior clips out and the bolts r exposed now... i took off 5 nuts with a 8mm socket now what?

Are you talking the inside crap or the piece that fits into the slot right under the top of the trunk on the outside....

Shit some how I got my trunk stuck closed.

Search "trunk stuck" while looking for my solution I think I saw a DIY on how to remove that and the 3rd brake light.

got it.... remove interior pannel about 7 clips.

then use an 8mm socket to remove 5 nuts.

then pinch plastic clip on the left and pop it off. you might have to shake it lightly to get it loose.

now its off.

to remove the badge heat it with a hair dryer and use a credit card to pop it off

done!!!!!!

i will post pics when i vinyl wrap it and re-install it
