DEER! 2013 Silver BRZ.

September 7th 2012 Picked up my BRZ in MA.

September 8th 2012 Started my 1000 mile break in drive:

Random Road i found in northern PA that my GPS told me to go down... Wrong direction, GPS working as intended.

September 9th 2012 Finished my Break in:

Thats my 2005 330WHP Forester XT behind it.

September 24th 2012:
Hit a fawn that came out between me and another car, (maybe 50ft between me and the other car, had my HD's tilted all the way down to not blind the other driver.) while coming home from work, Fawn shit and puked all over my car. Besides the horrible smell there's no damage besides a small Paint Flake lifted near my passenger side Headlight. My brakes work! went from 45 to 5 in about 30 ft, if that.

September 25th 2012:
Found the fawn curled up in a ball in the bushes about 150 ft from where i hit him, it looks as if he walked away from the crash then curled up to sleep and died. slightly saddened.

October 14th 2012:
Visiting my buddy with a 2011 STI this week down in Norfolk Virginia, Took my car into Perry Subaru (Best dealer ever.) for an oil change and GPS update. Car would not idle correctly after bringing it back home, took it back for them to look at. Their flying in an engineer to Fix my ECU Idle error.

October 20th 2012:
got my car back, after the ECU was reflashed car seems to have more pep and idles now at 800-700.

December 20th 2012:
My car was raped by a Buck today while I was at a stop sign. I was sitting there waiting for 3 cars to pass and I saw something weird over my hood, when i realized it was a deers face it was to late the last car came by and spooked him. The buck then jumped on my hood, lost its footing, fell onto my hood, gouging my roof with its antlers, Promptly got back up from the fall crushing my headlights and then jumped off my hood. Called Geico and reported it, the phone guy laughed when I explained what happened.

December 21st 2012:
Dropped my car off at the crash center, Expecting long delays in getting parts. The forester isn't nearly as fun to drive anymore, I've realized that I have destroyed everything about this car in an attempt to make it handle like the BRZ does from stock. Sweet Sweet Turbo boost though.

December 23rd 2012:
decided to name my BRZ "DEER!" I thought it was fitting, the other option was "Silver bullet" with like a lil silver Super Mario bullet as my sticker. And Lets be honest The BRZ is not fast enough to warrant the word Bullet anywhere in its name. Also I've decided as soon as I get it back I'm putting an exhaust on it, I think if it were louder that buck wouldn't have thought I was a Rock. Now to Find a sticker of a black silhouette of a Deer dancing on a BRZ...

January 29th 2013:
Got MY BRZ BACK! Bout Fucking Time.

March 26th 2013:
Installed Rally Armor mud flaps: Instant difference in coming in and out of my 1/4 mile gravel Driveway.
Installed hood dampners, thru away the stick, It really is nice to just be opening your hood

April 2nd 2013:
Installed my Perrin cat-back on DEER! Ordered a CF Driveshaft, Borla UEL and LWCP as well. Everyone needs a Birthday present.

April 12th 2013:
Installed CF driveshaft and LWCP, pretty simple and amazing difference in how the RPMs climb, Idle is back down to 700-600 though, Clutching in is Different now as well.
Installed Borla UEL, My flanges were warped so I had to grind them a bit. Gonna make sure everyone knows how much a PoS Borlas are.

Never forget, always Remember.

April 23rd 2013:
Pulled the Trigger on the Visconti Stg1+ Vortech package since it was so cheap.

May 7th 2013:
Ordered Flex-fuel System from Visconti, it will go quite nicely with my Vortech. CORN-JUICE!

May 16th 2013:
Still awaiting Vortech to arrive... Amusing myself while I wait:
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showp...3&postcount=17

May 18th 2013:
Ran into forum member @moto-mike and @Simmons today while they were out driving near my house. exchanged numbers and the such, Simmons car is retardedly loud, he has the JDL UEL, so jealous.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=28564

May 22nd 2013:
wrote up a CF driveshaft review after being asked about it a couple times.
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=37093

May 26th 2013:
Installed Vortech kit on BRZ today, Visconti Fucked me and sent a corrupt map. called him at 8pm (started the install at 8am) when I found out, he told me I had to submit a support ticket, I told him to go fuck himself. Last couple weeks started seeing bad posts about him and his maps/customer service, but it was too late. Called up @moto-mike at about 10pm and he did me nice and good, Came over at toofuckinglate 30 and road tuned me til I got pulled over by the cops at 2am... that was fun.

Big shout out to @moto-mike for being the best damn customer service money can buy.

May 29th 2013:

Dyno day with @moto-mike.

Vortech Stock pully (8.5psi)
92 Pumpgas
Shitty borla UEL
PST driveshaft
perrin crank pully
perrin resonated exhaust
stock up/mid pipe.

Currently Highest Stock Vortech HP numbers.

June 10th 2013:
Installed 500SIR port injectors, 290l Fuel pump, and tried to fit the FBM radiator behind my vortech IC... it doesn't fit. E-tuned 500sir injectors with @moto-mike.

June 28th 2013:
Started noticing alot of tunes on the vortechs do this weird flatline thing on their dynos as soon as they hit 6700 RPM, same place where i was getting my canyon when i was running stock injectors... Just reinforces my faith in @moto-mike and his abilities.

July 22nd 2013:
Put my Wedsport TCN105's on to my car. for some reason its been a goal of mine for the last 7 years to own a set. yeah I'm weird. Completely changed the look and feel of the car, still can break lose when i want to with the vortech.

July 19th 2013:
After breaking visconti's balls for about 2 months i finally have all the pieces of my STG1+ kit. (The 12.5 PSI pully arrived in the mail.)

July 25th 2013:
Flex-fuel Kit from Visconti has arrived, opened up the package, you should see these hoses he sent, fucking retarded.

July 31st 2013:
Dyno day With @moto-mike!

Only thing changed is Injectors and fuel pump, beautiful linear HP. 11hp gained just from those. 92 WAWA gas once again. Talked to moto-mike about installing the flex-fuel system, after he inspected the system he says he can tune it, but not to use the hoses supplied by Visconti. doesn't trust them. Talked about waste gating and EBC control for the 12.5 PSI pulley so I can go from e85 to 92 without worry.

Currently Highest Stock Vortech HP. I blame @moto-mike.

August 5th 2013:
Found a post and started linking alot of posts together, seems visconti may have burned a car down with his flex-fuel kit.

August 24th 2013:
Some S60 R-design was bugging me last night. That car was alot faster then I expected from a volvo, not FI BRZ fast but yeah, Note worthy.

Soooo Visconti screwed you once... Then you go back for more and get his flex fuel over the FA20.... No wonder he is still in business lol... No knock at you, but there seems to be a lot of people that do it.. Keep dealing with him after he messes crap up, or drop the ball on something..

That said, nice build, the two borla headers I've seen look nothing like the picture you have of the collector, I would've sent that back, love the name for your car, sounds fitting.. I lived in Illinois, and had to drive by corn fields, I drove slow during the end close to harvest time, because they was every where...

Great job.. Car looks great, sounds like its mean and faster now..

Never mind.. I see it was just his crap service and months and months wait from when you ordered, to when he screwed you, to when he finally shipped your parts.. My fault

That's pretty fucked up about the deer, sorry that happened though shit happens

Question, will the CF driveshaft hold up over the backroad highway debris?

Yes, any perpendicular hit to a CF drive shaft that's hard enough to damage it, would also weaken the structural support of a steel driveshaft.

Nobody yet. Got the frz in July. Waiting for the platform to develop a bit more before jumping, especially since the car will be sitting through the winter. Would really like to wait for a cricket fix before shitcanning the engine warranty.

Was more referring to modded Plat silver 05 fxt's and the silver frz.

Love my fxt, gives a fantastic contrast to the frz rather than 2 overlapping project cars.

What turbo is on yours?

Mines been a money pit the last few years. Only a vf39 but basically everything else minus control arms and sti 6speed have been done.

It's a vf48 from an STI, Megan racing coil overs, koing racing 18x9 rims, upgraded top mount intercooler and jdm 03 STI scoop... Really my last upgrade for it is the SI 6 speed transmission swap, but not gonna spend 7k on that car.
