Square vs staggered setup
I have three choices:
Square 17x8 Square 17x9 Staggered 17x8/17x9 Which setup should I go with? They will be TC105n and I will not be boosting my car |

well what are you doing with the car?
daily? show car? spirited driving? autocross? circuit? what kind of tires?

square 17x9 +35 has a little poke up front on stock suspension/mild drops, if you aren't boosting or lowering i'd say 17x8 square.

17x9 is going to be the fastest in just about every circumstance.

All are good options and since you aren't doing time attack or something and trying to get that last .01 seconds. I went staggered because I like the fitment of the 17x9 +35 in the rear but pokes a little much for my taste up front. Not to mention really throws a lot of road debris on your door and rocker from the offset. So for me the 17x8 was a better option up front.

staggered 17x8/9F and 17x9/10R or somewhere like that. Thats what i would go with. Good luck. Besides, the staggered look, looks a hell of a lot better on a sports car IMHO.

I was originally toying with the idea of going staggered, but after reading about all the ECU interference and the ice mode, I decided against it! Why? Because staggered "tires" have different circumferences, and having different circumferences means that your ECU is detecting slight slipping between front and rear. So when you are skidding around, it just kicks in and trigger ECU control of the car that much earlier. Also traction control input won't be quite right.
For tracking the car, I went with 17x8, because I think 245 is too much and rubs Hp, so no need to go bigger than 8, but with 8 you can fit 225 or 235's. My last track car with about 60 more Hp and about 400 pounds more weight was nicely happy on the track with 225's and the right suspension set up.

I love square. My M3 had staggered from the factory, now run a 265 square setup and its amazing. Whenever the stock brz rubber wears out i will go to a 225 square.
