Help - rpm drops after flashing E85 tune.
So like I said, after flashing e85 with oft the car is running kind of bad. Before hand I had flash the stg1 oft tune no problems, the car pulled hard and smooth. I ran the tank low filled with e85. Gave it about 20+ miles just low rav driving. And from the first drive from flash I noticed the rpm drops almost to stall when I release the clutch. And the rpm bounce around when driving and letting off the clutch without giving it gas. Ltft and stft is both between 7-/+. I did change and set the launch control to a lower rpm I don't think that would mess with the tune. Should I reflash it with stock e85 tune? Would it have to relearn e85 if I do? Should I give more time to adjust?
Thank for any advice! Tldr; after filling up and flashing e85 car runs rough and drops rpm |

Will the car have to relearn E85? I have ran stg1 no problem before. I'll try to rewrite later today. Would the LC change have anything to do with it?

Its possible if you set the LC or FFS rev limt delta to strange values you will get issues. When you flash a car the flash is either sucessfull or fails if you got a partial flash the car wont even start as checksum routine in ecu will fail. Flash a un altered e85 tune and see how it goes Ie no lc or ffs mods and no mods for pops Just standard oft e85 tune Are you running stock intake ?? |

I just re flashed with the e85 stock tune and the car is still running funky. Just sitting here. The rpm is all over the place I just flashed about 10mins ago and was doing the adjusting by driving under 4k rpm @steve99 Last edited by Joyriding_86; 10-20-2019 at 06:46 PM. |

I had a similar problem with stalling before but figured it out. My air filter (a K&N drop-in) was old and was clogging up the intake. I changed the filter and it started to idle fine without stalling. Might want to check the air filter.
