Exclamation New engine oil and transmission oil

Just swapped over to CSG recommended fluids in my BRZ. If you have not changed your transmission oil before this video covers the process.

Ha, ha! No, Justin’s running an OS Giken LSD, so the 75w90 gear oil is for the rear end. If you were joking, please disregard this and Merry Christmas!

Not joking, just seems weird that's why I asked. Merry Christmas to you too!

@RJasonKlein
Actually in the video and in the description, Justin says he used a 50/50 mix of MT-90 and 75W90NS for the transmission, not the differential.

Yeah, this is how I heard it too. Mixed those two for the transmission.

A (thick-ish) Full synthetic mixed with another GL5 oil for the transmission?

Not a combo I'd ever run. No hypoid gears on the tranny and EP additives keep the synchros from doing their job (but everyone already knows this right?!).

If I were using Redline, I'd start with MT-LV.
