Drambeenie Risers

Installation of the risers are straight fwd with good instructions.

First thing you need is the correct fuel to get this accomplished.

As stated before I was able to remove the rubber bumper with a good wrench and no heating. Also they used permenant locktite on the mounting nuts so those you will want to remove slowly.

You will end up with 2 dimples on the center of the trunk that were under the rubber bumper.

Installation of risers on spoiler is as stated in the directions. I did use Locktite 242 on bolts and nuts during reinstalation. Getting the adhesive pads on correct takes a little adjusting.

Reinstalation on car takes some tweaking. I did leave the spoiler mount bolts loose for this to allow for adjustment. This way the green clips went right in.

Color match for the yellow was just about spot on. The only way to get it closer would be to paint them the same time the car is painted. The quality of this kit is great and installation is easy.

That little extra height looks so much better! It doesn't look like an afterthought anymore.

Looks awesome man! Love the "NO PUSH" sticker - Don't worry though, I've slammed my trunk a hundred times to test, and slamming from the spoiler hasn't caused any issues. Just mentioning for your peace of mind

Yes the spoiler is a lot stronger than expected. I am not worried about me but I still have 3 pre paid oil changes at the Dealer and a trip to the body shop next week for the front bumper/splitter replacement. After looking at the price of the spoiler you will not want it to get damaged!

That "no push" sticker.. Now I want to fly over to Dallas and push it while I maintain eye contact with you.

Good DIY, btw.

This is the only situation where hard eye contact is allowable like this.

Never maintain hard eye contact with a man while putting on chapstick, slicking back your hair, or working out with a shake weight. #lifelessons

Glad to see the project fan out. So often things start and remain an idea.

I did not measure the incedence on the wing prior to removal. Wing looks good but a little more positive down would be better. I went ahead and removed part of the front mount to help. Looks like I could still remove more but will wait until I do some testing on the George Bush Autobahn, Dallas North Autobahn or possibly some of our new Express lane Autobahns.
