Abs and traction light no tailights replaced brake light switch now what?
Ok so i had the common brake light switch failure symptoms of abs light and traction control light and no brake lights. I checked all the fuses and replaced the switch with a new oem part. And it still doesn't work. Also tried disconnecting battery. Still no luck. Any suggestions? Do you need to adjust it a certain way or a scan tool to reset light and have brake lights working again? It is a 14 brz limited 6 speed thanks.

If so, manually work the switch and see if the brake lights come on. If they do, I reckon the switch isn't positioned correctly. HA .....HA ...... I beat @Tcoat to the trouble shooting post ....... ![]() humfrz |

Will just pressing the button on the switch be enough for the brake lights to come on if it is the position of the switch or do i also need to press the brake pedal.
