Transmission&Diff crush washers reusable?

1st service will be this week and I will be doing the changes. Trans and diff included. I called to order the nesceary stuff listed in the technical article. The parts guy stated that the trans/diff gaskets/hardware are re usable as they are aluminum.

Not sure if true. Is it necessary to do this or is that true info?

Some people flip them over and use them again, personally I would get new ones as they are dirt cheap usually.

I've always replaced them because they're pretty cheap and the dealership is literally next door to the storage unit where I do most of my work.

They ARE aluminum, and honestly you could probably just re-use them without issue since they are soft enough to probably re-seal just fine.

The transmission drain and fill plug have gaskets, not crush washers. Which is why they're $11 each. They are reusable, although I'd replace them after two or three uses for peace of mind. The diff has crush washers and they will need to be replaced.
