Low End TQ Loss with Catless FP/OP?
Hey guys, so I'm planning to pick up at catless front pipe and overpipe.
However I stumbled onto a thread from 2013 about someone putting on a OP and saying they lost the low end TQ. http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=36825 Is this actually true or false? Do you lose low end TQ with a catless FP & op? I also have the OFT Stage 1 tune with a catback/drop in filter if that matters. Thanks!

Why not just go catless header, where you will actually see performance results? You already have the OFT so there is a bit of room for improvement on smoothing out the torque dip and increasing peak HP.
The front pipe is the one thing I haven't changed, and I swapped the over pipe only because the header outlet was a bit too big for the stock over pipe and it was a $99 investment.

You won't feel any difference with any exhaust components on this 150whp car. Unless you go header and tune.

Save the money on the FP/OP and buy a catted header or something? Get some real gains out of the mod if you want to modify the exhaust.
