Loss of Value

Does anyone know what the 'Loss of Value' is on a BRZ thats been in a rear end collision? I got hit, and learned that there was a loss of value thing I could look into to cover the fact that my car will forever more be a car that has had body work done to it.

It looks like I need a new bumper, the exhaust hangers need straighted, (not to mention an entirely new exhaust), new trunk, and my Valenti's are fucked as well.

No idea about damage under the bumper.

Seems like KBB on a 2013 BRZ with 10,000 miles on it is about $24,500. What would you pay for one that has been through an accident?

I'm going through a similar situation right now. I already filled out the paperwork that usaa sent me for the diminished value claim. My car had about 2100 miles on it when it was involved in the rear end collision with also being pushed into the car in front of it. I'll let you know what I find out about it when I do.

It really depends on if there is damage to the frame, any damage to the frame will result in a bigger diminished value check.

A professional online appraiser quoted $2100. USAA sent me a check for a little over $300.
