Advice on new setup please

I've done all the performance mods that I plan to do for the car for a while before going fi (if ever).

Next is wheels and suspension. I do not track the car nor plan to.

My first plan was to do a staggered setup 18x8.5 in front and 18x9.5 in rear. I realize that rotating won't be possible but that doesn't bother me. My thought here was that I could get a nice set of wheels and lowering springs without having to do coilovers.

Originally wanted gramlights 57dr. Problem here was I didn't realize how difficult it would be to get these in a staggered setup. Would I be better off just doing a square setup and dishing out the extra money for coilovers? If so what coilovers would you recommend for somebody who does not plan to track the car?

I could also get te37 staggered but is that crazy having those on just springs?

I decided a month ago to get new wheels and did not know it would be so difficult. I've never bought aftermarket wheels before so my knowledge is limited.

Any help/advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I'll chime in here!

If you do want to go 57R Rays stocked 18x8.5 +38 / 18x9.5 +38 5x100 so they actually have a set in Gun Blue if interested. They typically dont make this size though.

Now, if you dont want that color then you will have to go square 9.5 and then we recommend a coilover setup for sure. Since more than likely with the correct offsets you will hit your stock springs/lowering springs.

And no its not crazy getting TE37s with lowering springs at all

Look into 2 or 3 piece aftermarket wheels.

I had 18x9/18x9.5 before on my car.
